I'm Too Excited For My Own Good

So if you've been reading my blog for a little while then you have most likely have come across the story of a four year old me asking/begging Santa for a cat for Christmas, and it never happening. Well Santa finally made everything right. I would like to introduce you all to Slappi Wigs (Wigs for short), and yes I know how ridiculous that name is, Will said it as a joke and I kind of fell in love, haha!  What can I say, I love silly names.
Will inspecting him :)
Our friend Shaye has an aunt who is always rescuing stray cats and one of them had a litter a couple of months ago and she was trying to find some good homes for them so of course I swooped in. When I called my dad to tell him I was getting a kitten he said "Congratulations I know it took too long," haha! We brought this little guy home last night and he has been pretty great so far, minus some crying last night but I think he was just missing his mom and siblings. Hopefully he will be feeling better tonight,  and I can get a little more sleep :)

I am seriously probably way more excited than I should be, but I can't help it! I finally got myself a kitty and I'm ecstatic!

  8. Pets are brilliant! My dog Max is two in August, we've had him since he was eight weeks old and I couldn't imagine life without him! When we moved from one side of Australia to the other, my fella even built Maxy his own seat for our car for the three day drive. Its so rewarding having a pet, and I say that as I have a snoring doggy sprawled across the couch, my lap and the laptop. x

  14. Ah he is gorgeous! And how much fun he'll have in your cabin. I love my cats, the sweetest company even when they bring me gifts of dead and sometimes not so dead (much worse!) things. Enjoy being a crazy cat mum!

  29. Congrats... having a cat is the best thing in the world... I live by myself and my two cats Rissol and Xamu. They are also silly portuguese names, and I love them to death.

It is a great responsibility having a cat, but it is also sooo much easier than having a dog.
Once again, this is just my type of blog...
I dont know if this is of your interest, but here is a pic of my babies.
    They said hi to Wig-wog!
